Use the instructions below to correctly convert your Word 2010 documents into PDF documents.

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Open your file.
  3. Click File > Share. From the Share menu, click Create PDF/XPS Document then on the right-side click Create a PDF/XPS.
  4. Choose a location and name. Next select PDF option in the Save as type drop down list.
  5. Click the Options… button.
  6. Check the ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A) checkbox.
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. Your PDF is now created.
